In house Barrett armorers teach this course and are prepared to share their unequaled knowledge of the Barrett Light .50 platform. A two day (16 hr) course, the 82A1\/ M107A1 Armorer Course covers operational theory, troubleshooting, and in-depth maintenance procedures. Upon successful completion of the course, each student is presented with a certification which is valid for three years.<\/p>\n

Course topics include:
\n\u2022 Rifle disassembly\/assembly
\n\u2022 Cleaning and lubrication
\n\u2022 Rifle function and troubleshooting
\n\u2022 Field maintenance
\n\u2022 Gauging techniques
\n\u2022 Practical final exercise<\/p>\n

Class begins each day at 8:30 a.m. and generally lasts until 4:30 p.m. (If you plan to travel home by air on the last day, please be prepared to stay until the end of the course.) Rifles and other tools are provided by Barrett for use during the course.<\/p>\n
